About your Beginner's Guide to Coding Session

Join the coding movement with our one-on-one, Instructor-led, LIVE Beginner's Guide to Coding course. Our initial program offer training is in Scratch, the Visual-Based Block Coding Program. Through Scratch we teach the computer science fundamentals needed for text-based coding like Javascript, Python, and C. Our course will expand your child's opportunities. Curriculum is aligned to the U.S. K-12 Computer Science Standards.

In this live, instructor-led course you will:

  • Build a program using out of the box functionality

  • Learn critical coding vocabulary

  • Enhance your coding skills and foundation

  • Design a multi-level, interactive game

This course also includes:

60-minutes sessions of valued learning, session reports from your instructor outlining progress made and areas for improvement as well as self-paced project development. This course also includes a student-assigned virtual machine for building automations and a Millennial Tech Academy Certificate upon completing the course.
